Maple Mustard Brussels Sprouts

Brussels sprouts…you either love ‘em or you hate ‘em.

And if you’ve only ever tried them steamed…that’s probably where you’ve gone wrong.

My favourite way to cook and eat Brussels sprouts is to roast them. You can get a nice caramelized taste to them and roasting them takes away the bitter taste that they can often have.

I’ve decided I’m going a bit fancier than my usual olive oil and balsamic vinegar recipe for this year’s Thanksgiving dinner. Because, why not?

If there’s ever a time to try a fancy (but also really simple) new recipe, it’s for Thanksgiving.

I’m serving up Maple Mustard Brussels Sprouts and they look delish!

I recently saw a Reel where someone said to soak Brussels sprouts in cold water with salt to soften them up. I am going to try this first before digging into the rest of the recipe. I sometimes find they can still be hard in the center even after roasting, and especially when they are sharing oven space with other Thanksgiving dishes.

If you’re looking for a simple Thanksgiving side dish that’s sure to impress your family…this is it.

I love Thanksgiving.

It’s a holiday that really focuses on being grateful and appreciative of all that you have. Life gets so busy that we don’t always take the time to say thank you to the people who mean so much to us for all that they do and all that they bring to the table.

So, don’t forget to spread some extra love and gratitude for all the good things you have in your life.

Happy Thanksgiving!
